Not as well known is Arhur C. Nielsen. Jr., the man who helped to establish the A.C. Nielsen Company, the firm founded by his father, as a global leader in market research.
Nielsen, Jr., the company's driving force since the 1950s, died October 3, 2011, in Winnetka, Illinois. He was 92.
