Henry Polic II, a longtime character actor known for roles on the comedy series When Things Were Rotten and Webster, died August 11, 2013, at an assisted living facility in Sherman Oaks, California. He was 68.
According to news reports, the cause was cancer.
On Webster, which starred Emmanuel Lewis as a child adopted by Alex Karras and Susan Clark, Polic played Jerry SIlver, the secretary and confidante to Katherine, played by Clark. On When Things Were Rotten, a goofy interpretation of Robin Hood, he played the Sheriff of Nottingham.
His guest roles included episodes of The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Cagney & Lacey and many shows.
Polic also appeared on the popular game shows The $25,000 Pyramid and The $100,000 Pyramid and hosted the game show Double Talk.
In addition, he provided the voice of villainous Scarecrow/Dr. Jonathan Crane in Batman: The Animated Series. His other voice work included such animated programs as Monster Squad, The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang and Yo Yogi!
