Milly Ericson, Big Band Singer and Actress

In addition to singing for such bandleaders as Tommy Dorsey, Ericson appeared in films and on TV.

Milly Ericson, a big band singer who also acted in films and on television, died December 13, 2011, from injuries experienced in a Los Angeles automobile accident.

Beginning in the 1940s Ericson began singing with bands that included Tommy Dorsey, Ray Anthony, Ralph Flanagan and Chuck Foster.

She also performed regularly on radio and, later, in the theater, films and television.

Her TV credits included Coach and The John Larroquette Show.
