Richard Dunn, a longtime character actor who frequently collaborated with comedic performers Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, died June 4, 2010. According to news reports, Dunn had been unconscious for several days in a Hollywood hospital. He was 73.
Dunn made regular appearances on Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, part of Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim lineup. He also had small roles on Nip/Tuck, Weeds, House, Parks and Recreation and other series.
Dunn also appeared in music videos for such artists as Diddy, 3 Doors Down and Tom Jones, and commercials ranging from the March of Dimes to Bud Light to Ed McMahon’s American Family Sweepstakes.
