Renato Basile will return as Producer and Danette Herman will return as Co-Producer at the 60th Primetime Emmy® Awards, it was announced today by Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich. The show will air on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 (8:00-11:00 p.m., live ET/delayed PT) on ABC from the NOKIA Theater, LA Live in Los Angeles.
"I am thrilled to have Ron and Danette back on our team for this year’s Emmy show as their experience and creativity is invaluable. They will be a tremendous asset to the look and feel of the show,” said Ehrlich.
Producer Renato Basile has worked for Ken Ehrlich Productions since 1988 as producer, associate producer and executive in charge of production.
His credits include 18 Grammy Awards, event specials including “The Adventures of Mimi: Mariah Carey Tour,” “ Music Rising: The Super Dome Re-Opening with U2 and Greenday,” “Come Together: A Night for John Lennon,” “Countdown to Kickoff: The NFL Times Square Concert,” and numerous television specials for artists including Celine Dion, Ricky Martin, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Elton John, Patti LaBelle, as well as Bon Jovi, Simon and Garfunkel, and the “Eagles Farewell 1 Live” special.
As Co-Producer, Danette Herman has long associations with some of television’s biggest productions. This will be her 20th year as part of the Emmy production team.
She recently completed the “80th Annual Academy Awards” telecast, her 33rd non-consecutive show and her 30th year with The Kennedy Center Honors. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for “Christopher Reeve: A Celebration of Hope.”
The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards is being produced by AEG Ehrlich Ventures.

Nominations for the “60th Primetime Emmy Awards” will be announced Thursday, July 17, at 5:35 a.m. PT from the Television Academy’s Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.
