"Come Volunteer in the Community" Professional Representatives event

“Come Volunteer in the Community” was the official title of our Professional Representatives Peer Group event where we gathered at OBKLA for an evening of food, drink and community building as we helped prepare meals for those facing hunger and food insecurity in the greater Los Angeles Area. OBKLA believes in providing meals with dignity to those who need and unites volunteers to cook and package them for those facing hardship. These meals are then provided to social service organizations for distribution. Last year alone, OBKLA provided over 100,000 meals to those in need. It was a great event – the first time the TV Academy has partnered with OBKLA in any way and they were so appreciative!
