Congratulations and welcome to the Television Academy! Joining our community of over 27,000 television professionals is truly exciting. Within our diverse network, spanning 31 different peer groups, we unite as passionate storytellers, collectively creating countless hours of content for audiences worldwide across every possible platform.

Our commitment extends beyond content creation. We strive to foster inclusivity and a welcoming community, not only within our organization but across the television landscape. We have the power to inform, entertain and ultimately impact society in a positive way.

We know you are busy with your respective work and personal obligations, but we also know that organizations like ours are only as good as the involvement and engagement of their members. Screening Room
Our premiere film program offers over 50 films and unique events a year for an optional $96 annually. After you have seen a film in our state-of-the-art Wolf Theatre at the Academy's Saban Media Center in North Hollywood, you will never want to go any place else!

Television Academy Foundation

Shape the Future and Honor the Past
You can "give back" and support the Television Academy Foundation's extraordinary educational programs and events like the College Television Awards and the Student Internship Program, by volunteering to judge the entries, or serving as an intern host. In addition, your tax-deductible donations help provide deserving students from all backgrounds with access to the tools, experiences and employers who will help them succeed, and can also help update and reshape nationwide curricula via the annual Media Educators Conference. You can also help us spread the word about the fantastic content available worldwide to everyone interested in the story of TV as told by The Interviews: An Oral History of Television, featuring more than 900 interviews with our medium's innovators and luminaries.

Advocacy

At the TV Academy, we believe in making a difference in two key ways: by engaging with our elected officials and by helping you, our members, access experts on timely issues. We work closely with legislators throughout the year to make production easier for you. Raise your concerns with us, and we'll take them to Congress in D.C.! You can share your thoughts and request action through our annual "Your Voice Matters" survey, or by visiting our new Advocacy webpage (coming soon).
