Active Status:
Employment as an executive in one or more of the following positions for a minimum of (2) years within the last four (4) years at an executive level of Manager (or equivalent) or above with oversight of Emmy eligible content in the areas of comedy, drama, animation, reality, competition, special, variety or documentary programming for networks, studios, streaming services, digital media and production companies (does not include show level).
Categories of employment for this peer group are:
- Production
- Production Executive Consultants
- Business Affairs & Legal (does not include HR or Safety)
- Clearance, Production Placement & Integration
- Executive in Charge of Production
- Post Production
- Production Finance
- Production Music
- Production Operations (which has impact on the production of the content/show)
- Production Technology Executives
- Promotional & Publicity Production
Exceptions to the above requirements may be requested on a case-by-case basis; however, applicants are strongly encouraged to review the criteria carefully and apply under the category that most closely aligns with their professional experience. We encourage executives whose primary responsibilities are in creative to instead apply to the Television Executives Peer Group. If eligibility remains unclear, applicants should reach out for guidance prior to submitting a request.
Associate Status:
Employment at a Coordinator level or above for at least two (2) years, or Manager level and above for a minimum of (1) year, with an impact on of Emmy eligible content in the areas of comedy, drama, animation, reality, competition, special, variety or documentary programming for networks, studios, streaming services, digital media and production companies (does not include show level).
