Reality Programming

Active Status

Employment in one or more of the following positions for a minimum of two (2) years within the last four (4) years – and, in work where credits are received, at least ten (10) credited episodes (or no less than number of credits required by the individual’s craft peer group, if applicable) – on reality competition programs, structured or unstructured reality programs, or game shows – in one of the following but not limited to job categories:

·       Camera: Cinematographer, Director of Photography, Camera operators

·       Casting: Casting Director, Casting Producer, Supervising Casting Director, Talent Producer, Talent Booker

·       Director

·       Game show Head Writer and Writers

·       Executive in Charge

·       Music Supervisor, Music Composer

·       Host, Judge

·       Picture Editor

·       Producers: Executive Producer, Co-Executive Producer, Supervising Producer, Supervising Story Producer, Producer, Senior Producer, Series Producer, Line Producer, Post Producer, Segment Producer, Field Producer, Consulting Producer, Creative Producer, Development Producer, Game(s) Producer, Challenge Producer, Host Producer, Supervising Content Producer, Content Producer

·       Production Designer, Art Director, Set Decorator

·       Production Supervisor, Production Manager

·       Sound Mixer, Sound Editor

·       Supervising Story Editor, Story Editor

·       Television or Production Executive (Director level and above) with creative involvement in the development and/or production of reality/unscripted television.

Or a qualifying body of work relevant to the peer group that warrants a waiver of the above requirements.  Body of Work designation has all the benefits of Active membership with the exception of running for Peer Group Governor.

Associate Status

Employment by a person in one of the above positions with a minimum of one (1) year within the last four (4) years and, in work where credits are received, at least 3 credited episodes. Additional positions eligible for Associate Status include but are not limited to Associate Producer and Production Coordinator.
