Catherine O’Hara was a beloved Emmy Award-winning actor, writer, and producer. She was an original writer and performer on SCTV, aka SCTV Network. O'Hara's body of work in television included her performances as Moira Rose in Schitt's Creek, Patty Leigh in The Studio, as well as guest star appearances on numerous TV series such as 30 Rock, Married...with Children, and Modern Family.
O'Hara was also a prolific voice actor whose work in television can be heard in The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley, Central Park, and Glenn Martin, DDS.
O'Hara gave iconic performances in many feature films. She can be seen as Kate McCallister, Kevin’s (Macaulay Culkin) mother, in Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. She can also be seen in After Hours, Beetlejuice, and Dick Tracy.
She also appeared in many of Christopher Guest's films, such as For Your Consideration, A Mighty Wind, and Best in Show. O'Hara can also be heard in many animated feature films, including "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "The Wild Robot," and "Frankenweenie."
