David Yarnell was a producer and executive who worked on television series and films. He was a creator and producer of Firing Line starring William F. Buckley, Jr. and produced numerous unscripted specials. Yarnell also produced the TV movie "Deep in My Heart," which featured a Primetime Emmy-Award winning performance by Anne Bancroft, as well as "Billy Wilder: The Human Comedy" for American Masters.

Yarnell was was also vp programming at Metromedia and RKO General as well as an executive at Screen Gems. His work in film consisted of producing "Can You Ever Forgive Me?"
