Tim Curry was an Emmy Award-nominated actor who appeared on television series, films, and theatrical productions. He played Pennywise on the miniseries version of "It" and an entire family of three people on an episode of Tales from the Crypt. He starred as William Shakespeare in the British miniseries "Will Shakespeare" and also played the lead role on the sitcom Over the Top. Curry played memorable parts on Criminal Minds, Monk, and Psych.

In addition to his acclaimed live action performances on television, Curry was also a prolific voice actor. He can be heard on The Wild Thornberrys, Peter and the Pirates (for which he won a Daytime Emmy Award), Hey Arnold, Mighty Ducks, and Over the Garden Wall.

Curry was perhaps best known for his performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," a role he originated on the stage as a member of the original cast in London. Curry also gave delightful performances in "Clue," "Muppet Treasure Island," and "Annie." He showed off his versatility in more serious films such as "The Hunt for Red October" and "The Three Musketeers" (1993).

In addition to his work on television and film, Curry had a long and distinguished career in the theater. He received three Tony Award nominations for his performances in "Amadeus," "My Favorite Year," and "Spamalot."
