Academy Secretary Dan Birman has released the initial election results for the TV Academy's board of governors elections for the 2003-05 term. Thirteen of the twenty-seven available seats on the board were contested. Twelve of those thirteen seats have now been decided. The remaining seat, the governorship of the Daytime Programming peer group, will be decided in a runoff election between candidates Bob Boden and Nancy Wiard.
