Required Materials for Application:
Personal Statement (600 words maximum) discussing the specific reasons for your choice of category, what identifies you as unique, how television has influenced your life, and what you are hoping to contribute and get out of this internship.

Applicants must submit either a registrar’s verification of current enrollment or a transcript confirming enrollment in at least 6 units. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted.
Finalists will need to provide proof of enrollment for the corresponding internship term at time of notification.
Finalists are also required to submit a letter of recommendation from a professional reference who has directly supervised them in a classroom, internship, workplace, or project-based setting. Personal references will not be accepted.

How you became interested in the television industry
How your past professional, volunteer, and personal experiences make you qualified for this opportunity
Your personal commitment to diversity and inclusivity, including how this program will help you promote the voices and stories of underrepresented communities
Short writing sample (if available): Any reality/unscripted work sample(s) you have created and or produced.
Video link (if available): Any reality/unscripted work sample(s) you have created and or produced.
Failure to submit all required materials will result in automatic disqualification in all categories. All materials MUST come through the application portal! Mail-in or emailed materials will NOT be accepted.

Selection Process*
Television Academy voting members act as judges to determine the finalists in each category.
