Second-Round FYC Communications Guidelines
As noted above, the Television Academy will not be sending second-round FYC emails or communications; we will apprise Academy members and Televerse attendees of the second-round schedule via the Televerse website.
However, you are welcome to create other materials for distribution/campaigning through other channels/platforms. We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines when planning your congratulatory/Emmy nominations campaigns and creating your materials.
If you have any questions, please contact us at fyc@televisionacademy.com.
Permitted uses of the word Emmy:
NOTE: Always add the superscript ® immediately after the first use of the word “Emmy.”
Uses of the word Emmy that are not permitted:
DO NOT use the word Emmy - outside of the permitted uses above - in your promotional booklet, in your social media, FYC event invitation, emmy Magazine ads, or any other promotional executions (billboards, signage, bus wraps, etc.).

Other Emmy Nominations Campaign Guidelines:
Emmy statuette imagery may be used in Congratulatory ads for your nominee – i.e., “4 Nominations!” (plus a listing of those categories), or “Congratulations on 8 Emmy® Nominations!” We are happy to provide imagery (see other guidelines for use of Emmy imagery below).
DO NOT use blatant campaign or disparaging language in either social media or traditional media, i.e., no "VOTE FOR ME" ads are permitted in emmy Magazine, in the trades or consumer pubs, on radio, or on any social media platforms.
Social Media
Feel free to tag the Television Academy and Emmys in your social media posts using our official handles:
We are NOT @TheEmmys
For content posted leading up to, during, or after Televerse, please consider these additional hashtags and handles for tagging purposes:
We are happy to work with you on congratulatory messages and ads following Emmy Nominations Announcements on July 15. Those materials may contain your FYC elements: “FYC” as part of your URL, your hashtag or social messaging, your branded logo lock-ups, or on your website for viewing nominated content.
NOTE: We will provide brand-appropriate Emmy statuette imagery and usage guidelines for your congratulatory ad/messaging to place across different media, but request that you review those materials with us prior to use. Please send materials for review to fyc@televisionacademy.com.
REMINDER: Collection of Television Academy member contact information is NOT permitted whatsoever, including via your own viewing platforms or at second-round FYC events. This includes phone numbers, email or home addresses, credit card information, etc.
While the Academy is planning a robust media outreach plan, it is your responsibility to invite and secure press coverage for your second-round FYC event. Media passes for each respective panel must come from your FYC Partner total allotment of 25 complimentary tickets.
You will be required to submit the Televerse Media Confirmation Form linked HERE. Download and enter every confirmed media outlet attending your FYC panel. The completed form should be sent to press@televerse.com no later than Friday, August 8. Only one form is required per network, studio, or streamer. Please consolidate your list of media across all of your events. Once this list is received, we will provide Media Center badges for your invited media, which may be picked up on the morning of August 14 at our Televerse Media Center check-in desk.
Televerse will have a Media Center at the JW Marriott Conference Center. It includes a red carpet for photo/social media/interview ops, one-on-one interview positions and a Media Lounge/workspace. All confirmed media outlets will have access to the Media Center via the aforementioned badge.
Be advised that panelists will be escorted to the Media Center upon arrival for individual and group photos/brief interviews before proceeding to the green room/holding space and then to the assigned panel stage. If a one-on-one interview is requested for your talent, we suggest that it happen after the red carpet and before the talent goes to the green room.
