Greg Polutanovich was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, and moved to Southern California to pursue a career in the film industry as a sculptor in the late 1980s.
Through the years of working on various movies, television shows, and commercials, Greg began focusing on fine art bronzes, his favorite subject being Western. Greg Polutanovich's Dramatic Bronzes specializes in finely detailed bronze sculptures, executed with a strong visual sense of energy, tension and gesture, making each piece visually engaging.
Greg has a knack for capturing an accurate likeness, with all proportions, gestures, details and expressions portraying the real essence of his subjects, bringing them to life.
In recent years, Greg has continued to work in the film industry and does private and corporate commissions with larger-than-life size bronze monuments, with unveilings in California, Florida, Colorado, Oregon, and the U.K. He is particularly proud of his Deepwater Diving Monument on the coast of Santa Barbara, and his most recent commission for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art: his portrayal in bronze of Norman Rockwell's "Triple Self Portrait."
