We know many of our members are watching post-production work leave your home states -- California especially. That is why we are proud to endorse California's AB 2319. This bill would establish a post-production tax incentive to help California stay competitive globally -- and, critically, help keep this work where so many of you live.
Our goal is straightforward: support our members in being able to work where they call home, no matter where they are. With nearly 30,000 members nationwide -- and many thousands based in California -- this is about protecting livelihoods and supporting the communities that depend on this industry.
We will be in Sacramento, advocating directly with state leaders. And we are urging legislators to support AB 2319 -- not simply as a policy matter, but as a commitment to the workforce that powers our industry and the local economies it sustains.
