Jane Lynch, who has been nominated several times and won a 2010 Primetime Emmy as Glee's Sue Sylvester, began her career with Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre and Second City companies. She's appeared on the hit comedy seriesTwo and a Half Men, where she earned a Primetime Emmy® Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress, and in films like Julie & Julia with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams, 40-Year Old Virgin with Steve Carell and Talladega Nights with Will Farrell, and as Mother Superior in The Three Stooges. Lynch hosted the 63rd Primetime Emmys, joining Ellen DeGeneres and Angela Lansbury as the third woman to ever host the show.
