Yerin Ha Named 2026 Ambassador for The 32nd Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA

The Bridgerton star will participate in a series of events leading up to the Actor Awards ceremony on March 1.

Yerin Ha, who stars as Sophie Baek in the Netflix series Bridgerton, been named Ambassador for The 32nd Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA. In this special role, Ha will attend Actors Rising, a special event hosted by The Actors Awards that spotlights the next generation of actors. She will also provide fans with an insider’s view of the awards via social media, participate in various Actor Awards pre-show events and raise awareness for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.

Announcing Ha as this year’s Ambassador, the Actor Awards noted that the guild selected her “for exemplifying the utmost values of the acting profession, serving as a positive role model for the next generation of performers and actively using her platform to advocate for humanitarian and public service endeavors.”

As the first East Asian lead in Bridgerton, the Korean-Australian Ha’s key role in season four is a milestone for the hit show, set in Regency-era England. Her previous TV credits include Netflix drama The Survivors, the HBO drama Dune: Prophecy and the Paramount+ drama Halo. Her theater work includes a production of The Lord of the Flies at the Sydney Theatre Company and, more recently, a starring role in Jean Genet’s The Maids at the Donmar Warehouse in London.

“Being named The Actor Awards Ambassador is such an honor because this ceremony is about actors celebrating actors,” Ha said. “There is something uniquely powerful about being recognized within your own community. As someone who cares so deeply about the craft and about collaboration, it means so much to represent the next generation of actors and be part of an event that uplifts storytelling.”

Award-winning actress and producer Kristen Bell will host The 32nd Annual Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA, which will stream live globally on Netflix on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall 

Iconic actor and activist Harrison Ford will be presented with the Life Achievement Award, SAG-AFTRA’s highest honor.
