The All Her Fault (Peacock), Running Point (Netflix) and Not Suitable for Work (Hulu) actor explains the shows that helped define him.
The show that was formative for me as a teen: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
I ended up at a private school, like Will did. I popped my collar as I walked through the hallways. I played basketball. You couldn't tell me I wasn't the Fresh Prince. As a young teenage boy trying to figure it all out, I felt like my life was being reflected back to me.
The show that’s must-watch weekly viewing for me: Paradise

These last two seasons, I think, are just such phenomenal storytelling. And I don’t know if my phone is listening to me, but I do know I’ve gotten a lot of [ads for] bunkers lately on Instagram
The show I can watch over and over: Martin
Whereas The Cosby Show and A Different World were aspirational, showing us a side of Black life we’d never seen before, Martin was like, "Oh, we know this dude." I could watch Martin all day long.
The TV I’m embarrassed to say I haven’t seen: Series finales

Honestly, the last series finale I watched was Game of Thrones. I have not watched one since. If I watch it, then it’s really the end. I want to believe it’s still existing in some way, event though I know it’s not. I have closure issues.
